Bang! Done.

Colonel Burns has done a ton. We played for thousands of people all over the state. At this point, we have taken the core of Colonel Burns and evolved into the bigger harder faster stronger institution that is the Volunteer Funk Department
We had some monumental musicians throughout Colonel Burns. The quality of personnel comprising the Volunteer Funk Dept., however, warrants its own genesis.

GOOD LUCK, DANIEL!!!!
Posted by: Pete L on January 22, 2007
Our beloved and insanely talented Key-smith Daniel has departed the region, destined for Alaska after some international travel.
Colonel Burns spent the last year evolving their sound to fit more and more around Daniel's melodic ideas, as he reciprocated with increased musical leadership and confidence in experiential artistry.
We hope Dan doesn't freeze before he makes it back to mainland here in several years -- good luck Dan, and good luck to all the Inuits who are about to get their dwindling glaciers all funked up!
Herman's Tickets are Up
Posted by: Pete L on December 15, 2006
Well we had a great time in Gunnison and Crested Butte and now it's time to lay it out for Denver again, at Herman's Hideaway on Saturday night.
We've got a pdf file for easy printing of discount tickets for Herman's. We'll be going on early-ish, at 8pm -- just one set opening for Sammy Mayfield and Buckner Funken Jazz.
We hope to see you there! It's our last show for a little while as our keyboard player Daniel is moving to Alaska for work.
